Just wanted to congratulate you on a superb first edition. Not only the work included (which is excellent) but also the layout of the mag which facilitates accessibilty, and the quality of the editorial work in general.
Easily the best online magazine of its kind i have seen.

Can't you tell how proud and excited I am with Calliope!

Congratulations on the launch of Calliope. It looks as if there has already been a good amount of interest. I liked the first edition very much – though areas of it seem to harbour that sickly, sappy piety often found in Anglican Church pamphlets (not really my cup of tea) – overall I really enjoyed the diversity of voices coming through in the various formats. I’m very much looking forward to reading the Britican feature. There really are some terrible stereotypes of both British and American culture that could do with setting straight – as I’m sure you are well aware – occupying both sides of the desk!

The best thing about this journal is that it already has a community feel. Hopefully, when everything is up, this will be doubly the case.

I would also like to say that I'm really enjoying the magazine, and so are several friends of mine who read it. So keep it up! :-)
